I've been playing Helena The 3rd quite a lot in my breaks of video game development working on Ensign-1, and I love it hah! It's a great game to just pick up and play for short breaks here and there.
One of the things I wanted to add to the game, but never got around to doing, is multiplayer co-op and deathmatch. I think the game would be a great contender for both of those 2 features. Imagine playing the through the game with multiple friends or duking it out in a battle-royale, with different kinds of tanks and abilities.
Anyway, if that's something you're interested in, check out our Kickstarter campaign to try to bring the idea to fruition. You can pick up copies of the game for yourself or your friends for quit a low price (assuming the Kickstarter makes it through).
Also, just to recap, here is a gameplay video and review of the game, in case you'd like to learn more about Helena The 3rd before purchasing.
I don't understand why any idea suddenly need to be funded. Back in my days we hacked games to add new features and made mods because we wanted to do it, not for money.
back in my day we didn't have preorders and you had to install games from floppy disks and buy them at a brick and mortar
I agree and the amount of many they usually request is absurd. however you must agree that certain mods are worth a small amount of coin.
To be clear, this is not a mod. Helena the 3rd is our game, and we are talking about adding a feature to it.
I know, just wanted to put my two cents in.
just a quick question as someone who bought this on indievania can i get a desura key? (i hate to say it but indievania seems to rarely get updates to games when they make it to other services)
Yea, I'll send you one now.
just got it cheers!
Looks a tad repetitive though, should perhaps add some puzzle element the liven it up a tad.
