Phobia 1.5 is a story based first person survival horror game. It's the second game in the series; with Phobia: The fear of the Darkness being first, and upcoming Phobia: Fear of the Unknown being the third.

FIXED IN version 1.3 (1.2.2014):
-Made the possible first enemy encounter better.
-Fixed a bug where the script for the opening of ventilation hatch would get stuck sometimes.
-Made the ladder easier to climb in the laboratory.
-Added a hint for an easier escape from the laboratory.
-Slightly Lowered the volume of the footstep sounds.
FIXED IN version 1.2 (27.1.2014):
-Fixed a bug where the mouse cursor didn't always show up in death screen.
You can still use the "Y" and "N" keys to make your selection.
-Removed the ability for players to jump with the "Z" key.
FIXED IN version 1.1 (25.1.2014):
-Fixed a bug where some puzzle scripts didn't update with a first try.
-Corrected the button shown for Action in controls to "LMB" from "RMB"
-Fixed a bug where the enemy would freeze if the game is paused while it's attacking.
You can no longer pause the game while you are being chased.
-Fixed a bug where the enemy would jump and get stuck into ceiling when the game is paused during the enemy patrolling.
HOW TO SAVE THE GAME:
-The game is saved automatically after a loading screen. Select continue from the Main Menu to
continue from start of the level you left off.
KNOWN ISSUES:
-The game tends to crash at the end of a loading screen. This is due to the memory issues with the engine.
This most commonly happens after the attic part. It loads with a second try, just replay the last level.
-There's clipping issues in the engine, and it's possible to fall through the map/clip trough a wall and get stuck.
This happens with some doorways or when crouching in tight spaces(under a table for example).
STORY:
After taking a wrong turn; you get lost and eventually run out of gas. With no sign of life anywhere within miles; you are forced to take shelter in an abandoned mansion from the cold. In your hunt for fuel; you discover that something terrible happened in the mansion decades ago, and that the place might not be as abandoned as you thought...
ABOUT:
PHOBIA 1.5 is a remake of an old test build of Phobia 3: Fear of the Unknown. I remade it to a full game, making it the second game in the series while still working on Fear of the Unknown. I decided to name it Phobia 1.5 as I had already announced Fear of the Unknown as Phobia 2.
Phobia: Fear of the Unknown will be the third game in the series.

-The game might crash on a loading screen occasionally.
This fixes itself by reloading the level again.
-It is possible, though very rare to get stuck.
If this happens; use crouch to unstick.
-It's possible to fall through the map in some areas.
This will happen less likely if you don't rush around.

I don't know if this is just me, but nothing at all happens when I click "Launch" on the little menu window. If anyone else has found a solution to this issue, please let me know!

A rather ambitious little game that offers quite a lot for its small package.
It does more than most certain indie devs in terms of having a continious thread going which keeps the player on the edge.
The engine does seemingly alot despite its reputation from what I can gather.
But the game has it's problems. The crashes you already know about, but I somehow lost my progress and had to start from the beginning after the game crashed at the find the pincode section. Also the colision on the door that the monster kick down can push the player out of bounds down into the floor & kill you. After you restart from checkpoint I was under the floor unable to get up thus essentially softlocking me. The fact that I had to start all over 3 times kinda soured the experience a little.
It was an neat game but the hickups and the fact that I had to go throught the load screens over several crashes was annoying. Still I reccomend the game to people who can put up with a these bug caviats.

It would be cool if in the end it would be: I don't feel so good and slowly I didn't know how the car worked and my fuel was out again, got out of the car and found the house in the forest

Awesome game!I just wondered there is a song after the explosion in the lab,when you climb the ladder after the loading screen.It's when you wander around the broken house.Do you know the name of the song?
