We are happy to announce the release date on Steam for our co-op Metroidvania, Anima Flux! It is set to release on Steam on October 7. Get ready to dive into a dark, dystopian future, where genetically enhanced soldiers must fight for humanity's survival in a perilous space city overrun by mutants.
About Anima Flux
In Anima Flux, players take control of two elite soldiers, special agents of a theocratic dictatorship tasked with protecting the last human city aboard a massive space ark. Battle through hordes of vicious mutants, uncover dark secrets, and combine the unique skills of both characters to overcome the brutal challenges ahead. The fate of humanity’s final stronghold rests in your hands, but survival comes at a steep price, with deeper mysteries awaiting in the shadows.
Storyline
The only remaining human city, situated on a colossal space ark, is under siege by a mutant invasion. The totalitarian regime sends its most advanced soldiers to fend off the attack and eliminate the threat. Players will control two of these soldiers, using their unique abilities and tactics to fight back against powerful enemies and navigate the desolate, dystopian landscape. With cutting-edge implant technology that transfers consciousness upon death, fear of dying is diminished—but the real horrors are yet to be discovered.
