We wanted to make a game icon that expressed the feel of the game, while still having recognizable features when shown on a screen in smaller form. We made three bases for what should be on the background of the icon, they are inspired mainly by fireworks:
We wanted to use these on the back of the icon, and then put on the forefront something that resembles characteristics of the game characters, so we wanted to play around with the hat and the mask on the front of the fireworks:
After that we looked at the ones we liked the most and went on to colour the icons to see what would fit best:
