Chronicles of Vaeltaja's next update is set to launch on June 26th and it finally brings the last character class 'Guardian', a new weapon class 'Polearms' and enhanced textures and tree sprites to the Great Forest and Pramea. 'Guardian' is the master of 'Polearms' with some healing abilities and besides the 'Witch Hunter', it is the only melee character that can attack from the backrow.
There will be three types of 'Polearms': Combat Staves, Spears and Halberts. Combat Staves are not as effective as Spears and Halberts, but they give better defense bonus. Halberts on the other hand are more powerful, but their defense bonus is very low. Spears are balanced to be in between them.
New enhanced textures finally bring the same art style to all the overworld areas, so the game world will look congruent and feel more atmospheric than ever before.
But that's not all! Castle Town gets couple of new interiors, and Nine Sisters Shop and Shadow merchant arrive in Pramea. Enemies have been balanced, so they will offer a better challenge and put the party's combat skills in a good use.
