Hungry Horrors is a unique roguelike deck-builder where cooking replaces combat, developed by Clumsy Bear Studio. Set in a world inspired by British and Irish folklore, players assume the role of a princess tasked with feeding legendary creatures to progress. Each monster has specific cravings, and if the food doesn’t satisfy them, dire consequences follow.
The game features traditional dishes like Champ, Stargazy Pie, and Cranachan, while the creatures are drawn from myths and legends, including figures like the Glaistig, Jenny Greenteeth, and Fear Gorta. With turn-based gameplay, handcrafted pixel art created in Aseprite, and a whimsical soundtrack, Hungry Horrors offers a blend of strategy, mythology, and humor. Players will explore beautifully crafted environments, meet folklore characters, and uncover secrets, all while mastering the culinary arts in a fresh and charming take on the roguelike genre.
