A quick rundown on the most recent update as we get closer and closer to the Steam launch

The Steam launch of Nuclear Lizard Island Rampage​ is two weeks away, and I thought I would give you all a little update on things.

Lots of things, enemy AI, damage balancing, building variety, art, have been improved over the last version, but the biggest bits for this update are as follows:

  • Mission structure and earning upgrades now make more sense.
  • Controller support has been added for the XB1 controller.
  • Music and the UI have been fixed and updated.
  • The lizard can now be electrocuted and generators can now be smashed up.

You can also now break down trees and hurl them at people. Everyone at the last convention I went to was all about deforestation when they tested the game. So, that's a thing now. I especially enjoy the electrocution bit. This coming week, I'm working on adding support for other languages and dotting the coasts with some wind turbines for the lizard to throw people into. Maybe adding some light human sacrifice.

In general, wishlist the game​ and make sure to spread it around to anyone you think might have anger issues and could do with a good bit of smashing people with rocks. The more people who hear about the game, the more time I can justify working on it.
