Open Galaxy 3.0 has been released.
This version introduces a lot of exciting features. The two most important include the new AI Tagging system and a new original cockpit set made just for Open Galaxy.

The new AI Tagging System gives the mission editor a lot more control over ship behaviour allowing for the creation of more interesting and dynamic missions.
The new Cockpit Set is closer to the original films, and also feels a lot more modern (graphics wise). A big thanks to First Strike mod team who let use their cockpit set for long.
I've uploaded the cockpits to Sketchfab and you're free to use them in your own projects.

This version briefly removes engine glows in preparation for a new approach to engine glows in version 3.1.
What's Next?
The next step is to restore engine glows to the game. After that you can expect a steady flow of new content: more ships, cockpits, and missions as well as additional features and gameplay improvements.
