I'm thrilled to announce the official reveal of Pompeii: The Legacy, a unique city-building game set in the heart of the Roman Empire. As of today, the game’s reveal trailer is live, offering the first glimpse into the challenging yet rewarding journey of rebuilding the legendary city of Pompeii after its catastrophic destruction by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
In Pompeii: The Legacy, you’ll take on the role of the head of a Roman family tasked with restoring the city from the ashes. The game blends city-building mechanics with deep historical authenticity, capturing the rise, fall, and rebirth of Pompeii over the course of several generations. Players will need to navigate the complexities of Roman society, manage resources, and withstand various challenges, including natural disasters and political intrigues.
This reveal marks the beginning of an exciting journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve already received from the community. With over 3,500 wishlists on Steam within the first day, I’m more motivated than ever to continue developing this game and bringing it to life.
