Rustforge is a strategic automation game where you defend your virtualized human colony from a hostile force. Grow them - protect them. The game is currently in pre-alpha development stage and Kirous Games is working hard towards a first playable version.
A lot has happened since the project started all the way back in 2016. In fact, a lot has happened just in the past few months in 2024 since the development has begun to accelerate towards a playable version. And not just any playable version - but the first playable version. That's right, after many years of lonely development, we're finally going to see some action and gameplay. So don't go anywhere just yet!
In Rustforge one of your objectives is to keep your virtualized human colony happy (and alive, amongst other things). Happy and content colony members are productive and are able to innovate new scientific discoveries to boost your automation even further! This is a new feature and lot of the details are still open and under exploration at the moment. But don't worry - more information will be coming soon...
