This mod adds the weapons and items from Quake as a resource for mappers. Also includes weapons from the two Quake mission packs, Scourge of Armagon and Dissolution of Eternity.
Weapons and associated ammo types included are as follows:
===Quake===
-Axe
-Shotgun (Shells)
-Double-Barreled Shotgun (Shells)
-Nailgun (Nails)
-Super Nailgun (Nails)
-Grenade Launcher (Rockets)
-Rocket Launcher (Rockets)
-Thunderbolt (Cells)
===Quake: Scourge of Armagon===
-Proximity Gun (Rockets)
-Laser Cannon (Cells)
-Mjolnir (15 Cells for lightning attack)
===Quake: Dissolution of Eternity===
-Grappling Hook
-Lava Nailgun (Lava Nails)
-Super Lava Nailgun (Lava Nails)
-Multi Grenade Launcher (Multi Rockets)
-Multi Rocket Launcher (Multi Rockets)
-Plasma Gun (Plasma)
To note, the Dissolution of Eternity weapons (besides the Grappling Hook) are not regular pickups, and instead are rewarded when the player has both the original weapon and the alternate ammo type. While there are backpack versions of all of the weapons, those are intended for dropping on death in Versus.
Other items included are:
-15 Health
-25 Health
-100 Health
-Green Armor (Max 100 armor)
-Yellow Armor (Max 150 armor)
-Red Armor (Max 200 armor)
-Quad Damage (Serious Damage)
-Pentagram of Protection (Invulnerability)
-Ring of Shadows (Invisibility)
-Anti-Grav Belt
-Several key items, including all the key types and the end-of-episode runes
I've also included a couple test maps that can be used to test the new weapons. Note that I have them locked by default (I was hoping it would hide the episode...), but you can access them by having developer cheats enabled (type cht_bEnableCheats=3 in the console), and backing out to the title screen.
Notes:
-Due to the alternate ammo setup for the DOE weapons, the Nailguns, Launchers, and Thunderbolt will all take up two weapon slots each, even if you don't possess the required alternate ammo. If you do not wish to use the DOE ammo types in your map, include a script somewhere on the map that has "worldGlobals.DisableQuakeWeap right at the start, which will disable the alternate ammo check and free up those weapon slots.
-The Quad Damage item in SSHD doesn't have the original Quake sound because all Serious Damage type items in SSHD mode are hardcoded to play the Serious Damage sound.
-The Ring of Shadows powerup really only works for Versus, as its based off of the Invisibility powerup which doesn't work on monsters (its purely a visual effect)
-The Grenade Launchers may not behave correctly at really low FPS.
