Co-op Multiplayer Mod for Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (PC - Steam) job

We are seeking skilled developers to join us in creating a co-op multiplayer mod for the classic action-adventure game, Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, on PC (Steam). This mod will transform the single-player experience into an exciting co-op journey, allowing up to 4 players to team up and relive the thrilling escapades of Indiana Jones together.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Co-op Multiplayer: Develop a system allowing up to 4 players to join, leave, and synchronize game progress, items, and enemies.
• Integrate Game Mechanics: Maintain the original game mechanics and story while adding co-op functionality, ensuring compatibility with the latest Steam version.
• Enhance User Interface: Modify the UI to support multiple players, including hosting/joining options and in-game indicators.
• Ensure Stability and Performance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure smooth gameplay without crashes or performance issues.
• Develop Life and Respawn System: Implement a life and respawn system where each player gets one life per level, immediate respawn on death, checkpoint respawn with life restoration, and level restart if all players die.

Requirements:

• Experience in modding PC games, particularly action-adventure titles.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
• Familiarity with networking and multiplayer game development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Deliverables:

• A fully functional co-op multiplayer mod.
• Installation instructions and a troubleshooting guide.
• Source code and assets used in the mod's development.
