ApocaShift is not dead! latest one-year update showing off changes to the game and a short sneak peak of a new mob.

Hello everyone!

It's been just over a year since I began developing ApocaShift, and we have some major updates and exciting changes to share with you!

- Main gameplay loop nearly finished, it is now a extraction looter

- Added many different monsters although the ai is not finished yet for some

- The base will be empty at first but as you do things you'll find people who will join you as traders and will stay at your home base.

- You can upgrade the base/store vehicles and supplies/ as well as craft items and trade with the traders you have.

- When you die while deployed/in-raid you will lose all the currently looted and equipped items and respawn back at your home base ready to gear back up and go in for another try.

The map has nearly doubled in size, though it still pales in comparison to what I have planned. I'm considering whether the map will be segmented or if each raid/deployment will allow full access to the entire map. Currently, I'm leaning towards the latter.

The health system is also being reworked, moving away from traditional health bars to a blood-based system. As your blood level drops, you'll become lightheaded and could eventually pass out. Depending on the situation, you might succumb to your wounds or survive... if nothing finds you first.
