Techland is the major Polish video games developer and an acknowledged producer of professional utility software. Created in 1991 by Pawel Marchewka, the company successively reinforces its position in the industry and the dawn of the new millennium marked the date Techland began the conquest of the international markets. Initially our activities were focused around the distribution of software in Poland. Later, towards the end of the nineties, we decided to commence the in-house production of computer software with the main emphasis put into video games.
Currently we develop technologically advanced high-budget games for three platforms – the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. We employ almost two hundred of staff – young and dynamic people with bound by ambition and creative passion. Our staff is made of both the highly experience industry specialists and young apprentices of different trades. All of them perceive the electronic entertainment as not only their job but, more importantly, their lifetime passion and hobby. Each and every one of us wants to excel in their area of work striving to constantly develop and learn. We put ambitious project to life on daily basis and since 2008 we do this in three locations – Wroclaw, Ostrow Wielkopolski and Warsaw.
Today Techland is not only the producer of excellent games, utility and entertainment software, gaining international acclaim but also a reliable publisher and major distributor. Every day we push ourselves to realize our vision – deliver the world cutting-edge attractive electronic entertainment.
