Devlog No.6 - My Rosemary

News

Hello again!

No more intermissions! This post we'll be talking about the mechanics behind our game, showing screenshots.
Our main mechanic, the lockpicking is in its early stages of art implementation. Here is a screenshot from a game test build we created, which we will talk about in another following post:

lockpick

The needle that moves along in the lock is a metal rosemary flower, property of Rosemary herself, being something her father gave her earlier in her life. The seems wrong text is present o show an incorrect player input. The opposite is also present with a click text. A diferent approach will be created later in the following month.

For our next mechanic, the flashlight, here is a screenshot of it revealing a hidden code in the test house:

light

You can also see Rosemary in this image, with a placeholder design. The pattern here is used for another lockpick in the same test room, which will be on a following post as well.

That's all for now,

See you next post!
