HardHead Games is a small indie game studio run out of Brampton, Ontario. We put a strong focus on local multiplayer gameplay. The team is comprised of three members, Andrew Hardy (Lead Developer/Designer), Greg Head (Developer/Designer) and Brenton McAnuff (Artist). Our mission is to resurrect local multiplayer games! Since the N64 there has been a huge shortage of multiplayer titles because everything has gone online, which is great!… but its just not the same as having 4 friends yelling at each other in front of the tv. Anyone who’s played N64 titles such as Super Smash Bros, Goldeneye and Mario Kart knows EXACTLY what we’re talking about! We want to bring these experiences back into the mainstream and we’ll be doing it on OUYA, PC, Android, iPhone and hopefully the next gen consoles as well. (XB1, PS4, WiiU)

Thanks for trying the game! Glad you enjoyed it. I agree, a little bit of the art is a somewhat flat. With limited resources we had to stick with what we had in a couple places. The growing pains of a new indie dev. :) That said we will be continuing to add to the game and art/UI will be one of those areas. Patch 1.04 is coming soon and has some UI/graphical improvements! Thanks for your support!

Enjoyed reading your post mortem. Seems we're in the same boat on a lot of these things.

Goodluck on Steel Archers!

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I submitted a patch a couple days ago with addresses the lack of keyboard controls in the instructions as well as a new DM mode, Bounty Brawl! More to come! :)

Ah yes. Sorry for the confusion. I had rushed to get keyboard/mouse support in for the launch. F on the keyboard warps in the ship. Its listed on the controls diagram but I need to update some of the instructions text to make this more clear. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. You'll also be happy to know that a patch allowing fully customizable controls will be coming very soon! (As well as support for non-xbox controllers)

Thanks for letting me know. I apologize for the frustration. I haven't been able to recreate the bug. Pressing A or Enter should proceed. When exactly is this happening?

Keyboard support will be in, its just "untested" right now. Working on getting fully bindable controls for both keyboard as well as any kind of controller people might have. It's silly that XNA only supports xbox controllers but I believe I've found a solution! Hoping to have it ready for friday. Fingers crossed!

This looks like a great tool! TY for posting/sharing! We're about to publish our very first game and was curious as to how we go about generating keys for reviewers and final testing. TY TY
