I've just published a tutorial explaining how to create a desktop shortcut to my mod. It meets all of the specified requirements, but has been immediately marked as ARCHIVED. Why has this happened and what can I do about it? Here's the article: Moddb.com Thank you. |

Normally, installation guides are not featured on the homepage of ModDB (or IndieDB). Yours, however, looks like it was self-archived (just checked admin logs). If you choose to "Release on linked profiles only", your article will be immediately archived and shown only to followers and visitors of your mod page (just not random users coming from the front page or the modded/linked game profile). |

Thanks for the reply. I've posted quite a few articles and tutorials in the past and never had this happen before. I'm pretty sure that I followed all of the correct procedures. Anyway, as long as it's visible to visitors that's the main thing. |
