The Bifrost Project is a managerial/strategy game where you are in charge of a secret project. Your purpose? build and maintain a base on earth, explore other planets using an antic portal, bring back data, artefacts and technology, study them and discover new technology. With 4 aliens races, you can trade, make alliance or war, you can learn for them or be spied, act like you want but remember that with every choice come consequences.
Some years ago, during a scientific expedition in the North sea, the team discovered a anormal mettalic mass at the bottom of the sea. But with the financial crisis of 2008, nobody would risk money to fund a new expedition given the difficulties of the mission and the fact that nobody knew what could be found.
Yet the team was contacted by an secret group: the "shadow council" who accepted to fund the expedition in exchange of the secrecy of the operation and the exclusive use of whatever would be found.
And so the expedition was launched in great secret. When they started to explore the sea looking for the anomalies they founded more than just a old ship: they found a sinked city. And in place to have answer they only had more questions.
Exploring the city they finally discovered an old, damaged stone and yet still readable on the front gate of the city walls. One single word was translated: "ASGARD"
