Bukkaku created by Lukas Reznicek. Experimental horror survival with elements of science fiction and RPG. A story between life and death in a stylized game origami world.
The name „Bukkaku“ has many translations. It kind of makes sense if you think about it. If you are wondering why it sounds similar to bukkake, it's because it comms from the same root word. (bukkake 打っ掛け) First kanji (打) translates to “strike” or “sudden”. Mostly it's corresponding with "shattering to pieces" from which comms the graphical style which should be absolutely obvious. And last but not least it's a word for Buddhism temple playing essential role in the game. Bukkaku is created in the game engine Unity.
I am widening the world i created and developing it in direction you will see in future materials and hopefully eventually play. Watch the social media profiles and information chanels, where i will be adding the progress informations continuously. One of first news will be always in official RZE STUDIO BLOG.
Also we welcome any feedback.We are preparing elements from various places around the world for the game. We greatly emphasize popular style called Kawaii.That will be combined with elements and Mexican styles. Game project i am currently creating will be placed in asian continents "life-style problematics" with a little bit of Mexico.

Finally, it's time for some new information about my ever-changing game project with the "interesting" name of Bukkaku. I finally decided to go 3D low poly in a way that makes a lot of sense to this concept from the start. In addition, I also work on the digital e-shop wauow.com and create an animated film Ynccuth. It is a never-ending project that is constantly changing and experimenting with the technical game system. This punk approach will of course also have an impact on the final product. The maps are designed as a mixture of psychedelic and strongly abstract environments. You move around the map with the character and try to escape from the monsters. In the end, it's quite fun when nothing leads you astray. There will be no character or game settings. No clues or explanations. I hate endless explanations about the game and its name. Try to think with your head sometimes and engage or awaken your creative brain cells. I'll just leave it up to you. Make up your own mind. I will try to finish the playable prototype as soon as possible. I'll let you know what went wrong again and what's new. Thx. Off.
