A survival shooter set in Central Asia after the end of civilization.
Showing off how accurate the map will be to real life.
Doesn't look very accurate to me at all.
But it's still looking great!
awesome work,...
what you need to add is more objects, like broken chairs, old steel beams, dirt like papers and wooden stuff on the ground and i would destroy some of the balkonys... the house-texture also looks a bit "new" maybe add some holes or atleast colour changes on the texture.
hope you get me right, it already looks awesome! just wanna help make it look better ;)
indeed!
While it's true it's missing some objects, "its still a work in progress" It also seems that buildings are ill proportioned to their real life versions.
Can you help me ? , i cant seem to find out wich one is teh real one ;)
Hmm... Which one is real?
Fantastic job, I love it!
Good luck !
Before I post at every pic a comment I say:
Everything is totaly awesome!
So yeah... they don't exactly look the same do they now. Looks to me someone put the wrong image in the comparison.
Maybe you should have looked at the picture before you commented.
GOTTA LINE UP THOSE BRICK TEXTURES
*edit* oops, CanadianMoose was first
Doesn't look quite as accurate as it should be.
Fake one stands out a lot because of the improper texture alignment. Though its a very good recreation.
I think you should add more shrubs and remove the stone wall, it makes the place look more like the photo, unless the wall is being used for cover..
The sign is facing the wrong direction.
And maybe you could add some dirt and rust to the walls?
But really it's impressive work.
The wall brick texture seems rather clean. Some dirt stain decals and a dirt pass on the albedo would make it look much better. Also: the bricks don't line up all the way around, which look somewhat silly.
The comparison isn't really anything. The only thing I can resemble is some house on the left, and trees on the right.
I would model those cool run down balconies. Would add in so much cool detail. As well as those bushes next to the house, and please, do something with that wall end that has been cut a few times in hammer. These are places that need prop models to fill in the good details.
I also miss some trims around the windows. Nothing pops out of the building except those small boring balconies. Add in ventilation, window sills, more detailed and run-down balconies, old interior stuff laying around etc etc. It's too plain atm.
Even though it takes some time to model smaller props such as these, it's worth it. Make the surrounding fence-walls modular models with different end pieces. You could use them anywhere (multiple skins ftw).
edit: also looks like the light bleeds under the balcony. Defeat for low lightmaps..
Looks good so far, but too clean and looks WIP to me.
HOLY ******* ****!!! NEVER THOUGHT sOURCE cOULD DO THAT!!!
your texture work goes above and beyond
have a broken building
