Beyblade: Spinning Heroes Is A Game Inspired By Beyblade Anime Show :)
20 minute throw together for you guys. Just to see if this is what you're thinking of. I know it's not a proper beyblade, I just made it up as a I went along.
This was done VERY quickly. Hence the errors and distortions. If I were to do a proper one, I would spend more time.
Looks ok!
Yeah. It could be better. Beyblades are quite nice things to model so I if I could smooth it, at more polys... Change the shaders a bit...
blabla.
Of course I need some references to work from for proper models.
It is good and all but we need better beyblade like this here : Anitricks.com and here : Youtube.com and soem lower quality beyblades like this one here: Youtube.com
but if you try to make one,but no 20 minutes...we know that you are capable of making really good beyblades...so why not...:)
Btw what program did you use for this beyblade?
The vids you showed. Give me perhaps an hour and I could have you ONE blade like that. What I could do though is spend a few hours and make the parts for a couple of them. The quality like that though will not transfer into the game without lots of polygons or niec shaders.
I'm currently rather unhappy with the weight... it's got some horrible triangle shading errors. But that's because I made it in about 2 mins... so its ok. The bit as well is distorted.
I used blender. I'm thinking of doing a blender tutorial some time as well. (perhaps a vid tutorial) So look out for that.
This beyblade ^^^ I was thinking of using to demostrate the beyblade 'builder' program I was going to make for you. So it's just a quicky test.
Great to hear that and btw that tutorial will be about making a beyblade?
I tried blender but it is more complicated that 3ds max or cinema 4D :)
What kind of beyblades will make your program?
That would help us a lot thanks for helping us :D
That about a beyblade in a hour will you make it now?
I hope to see more beyblades from you :D
1. The tutorial I plan to do first will be a general 'how to use blender' tutorial. (Making a full beyblade in blender for a tutorial would be very complex)
2. I have never used any of the others, but I get on with blender fine. It's free, which is the bonus. And has good help sites and tutorials.
3. Not entirely sure what you meant by "What kind of beyblades will make your program?" as to what kind of beyblades will be in the 'builder' program, well, just tests. Nothing high quality. The main purpose of the program will be to show you the code needed to make it work.
4. I can't make it now, gota go to work. And when I'm back I've got some deadlines to meet on my own project. You can be expecting a full quality beyblade from me by, lets say, thursday next week, because I'm away over monday and tuesday so I won't be able to do any work.
5. I'm sure you will!
About those beyblades in the videos... They are very shiny. But you probably don't need this much quality if the camera is a relatively far away from the beyblade.
Good luck :)
Thanks for fast response :D
Too smooth for a beyblade, sorry thats what I think..;)
