SurviveRL (working title) is NOT another survival first person game. Read on please. It is a concept where the world persists around the player. Actions have cause and effect. Killing an enemy, helping a creature can generate an outcome much later in the game. Multiplayer and modding support are part of the building blocks to the code, making for replayability and extensibility. There will be a single player campaign/story mode also.
Here is a screenshot of a lion walking across the desert. It's just a test also, as we might not have safari animals in the alpha version.
Notice how the shadow of the lion is cast across the ground from the setting sun. It's realtime, and you can get to see that effect in the alpha version when it's released.
