Venture in the dark is a 2D horror story driven platformer game in which the player's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. You must find shelter but you come across signs of someone being there recently and a sinister plot is discovered. Will you survive?

STORY

When your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, you must find shelter somewhere. Whilst looking, you find clues that show that someone or something has been there recently and something very sinister and dark has happened, will you piece together the jigzaw and find out what has happened or will the venture in the darkness be to much for you?

FAQ

Why is the FOV so low?

Good question! The FOV is that because of two primary reasons. The first is that it adds suspense to the game as you can't see what or WHO is behind/infront of you. The other is so you, the player, can't see the objects spawning in and out as the game is on unity 5, a capable engine, sure, but it can't handle 2D fantasticly. So we made a work around. Why did you put this on steam?

I put this on steam because I, personally, have been a PC gamer for many years and belive steam is the best platform for this game. If this game is greenlit, I may explore the possibilty of having the game intruduced to other platforms.

Why is there every language selected?

Good spot! Every language on steam has been selected as I have discovered a very procise translater online and from feedback, it works extremely well. The other reason every language has been selected is because there isn't much text in the game, apart from menus.

Why isn't my language selected?

Another great question! To contrast with the previous answer, I had selected every language available possible when on steam, but for some strange reason, it doesn't include certain languages! I don't know why - but I can garantee that the game has every mainstream language on it, and others can be easily requested!
