Other than that check for error messages. Maybe you forgot to unpack a .wtp file.

Use "Install from Disk..." on the Add-ons tab. Here is a relevand piece of video: Youtube.com
1. Use Corsix's Mod Studio to unpack .rsh files with model textures
2. In the Addon preferences set up the "Mod folder" option to the path to your mod
3. Open the model
If you missed some textures you can unpack them later following error messages from the addon.
The initial uploaded archive was missing a file. I updated the archive, so you may need to re-download it.

I guess now when the .whm model format is mostly decoded we got closer to the open source DoW.
I haven't dug into it myself yet but as far as I've seen it looks conditionally visible meshes and markers. The addon supports both of them.
