To my understanding, you can script more dynamic needs into anomaly, I just haven't had time to look fully into that, college eats a lot of my time these days. If it's doable, that is likely something that I'll be adding.
If you want to adjust the kcal burn rate, you'd need to go to the utils_ui.script file in the scripts folder and change the magnitude of the eat_satiety line from 3000 to what you want it to be.
3000kcal was the starting point that YKS and I started with, but depending on feedback we'll adjust accordingly.
My bad, I'll be uploading a patch for that within a few hours.
That's intended since the chocolate is four uses equivalent to a quarter bar, but the half bar is a single use. Most of the discrepancy comes from not removing the half bar from loot pools without conflicting harshly with other mods that edit loot pools.
