Having worked as a farmer and woodcutter for most of my life i became determined to do something that would leave my mark after i was gone. Since then i got back to studies, and i have now a master degree in Electrotecnical Engineering as well as a degree on Electromechanical Engineering. On my free time i like playing and so i became interested in creating my own games or, in the shorter term, modding games to get something closer to what i would like games to be.
Intercepted message between Inquisitor Ariel Cornelivs and one of her acolytes

As requested I have searched for informations related with the Lost Chapter of the Green Scorpions.
The most recent information about this chapter of the Adeptus Astartes dates back to the 37th Millenium when their recruiting world was overwhelmed by a sudden invasion of daemonic forces due to the opening of a warp portal supposedly performed by the planetary governor or one of its servants. Half the chapter was accounted for and died to the last men in the defense of the planet, successfully closing the warp portal despite not being able to purge all chaotic forces from its surface. According to the records of the investigation performed after the planet was reconquered, the other half of the chapter was escorting the civilians and the body of their eternal chapter master often refered to as "The Saint". The plan was to leave the civilians and their prized relic safely guarded on another planet before returning to die with their brothers in the defense of their recruiting planet but some sort of turbulence in the warp made their vessels get out of its course and crash. Wether they evacuated the larger vessels or they died in the crash is currently unknown but that half of the chapter was never found again or returned into Imperial space.
Along with this message I sent you some archive images of the Scorpion Guards, commonly known as Crypt Guards due to their role as guardians of the coffin of "The Saint".
According to the archives this Chapter Master refered to as "The Saint" was mortally wounded by a greater daemon of Nurgle and while the chapter was victorious that day with the daemon being destroyed before the chapter master fell to its wounds, it was considered a day of sorrow and to honor their leader the officers of the chapter declared that their chapter master would always be "The Saint" and so his body became the most sacred relic of the chapter.

Did you ment RED Scorpions?
No jONES, Red Scorpions are too documented to serve the purpose of a chapter missing in action which is the case here. It is said there are at least 1000 chapters and not every chapter is known so when trying to tell a story to avoid conflicting with the lore it is better to use one of those unknown chapters and give it a name and background.
Are they will be a bit tainted?
You will have the option to get a complete answer when this campaign is completed:

For now that are things that must be kept in secrecy. Still i can tell you that overall it is still a loyalist chapter.
Despite that the most sacred relic of the chapter is the object of attention of several factions including the inquisition. The secrets of "The Saint" are of great importance and so some seek to expose them, while others seek to keep them a secret. Almost no one knows the entire truth about the life and death of the man most recall as "The Saint".
The inquisition believes his coffin contains information of great value to the Imperium, the Adeptus Mechanicus knows there are information related to long lost STC's, some chaos factions seek vengeance for their brethren killed by this mysterious man while others wish to use its rotting body as a vessel for something dangerous to the Imperium.
Any remnants of the chapter are just in the way for those factions and will be targeted indenpendently of their allegiance.
Obviously there are obscure secrets of "The Saint" which will be known throughout the campaign as the player controlled faction fights its way through the planet where the evacuation ships landed.
Definitely, many seek to expose them!
Why does my heart feel so bad?
