Interesting idea! I think plan I have will function similarly, though it'll get riskier the more you teleport (so you're encouraged to teleport, but over-do it). Will have to prototype to see what works best :)
I do plan to have some hitscan weapons :)
Need to make a video or gifs to show off the new particles!
Was approved yesterday! Will be on sale this Saturday June 18th!!!
ElastoMania is certainly an influence :)
I wanted to bring that kind of game to the iPhone while at the same time updating the visuals/gameplay. I have lots of plans for expanding the game further in future updates :)
Yep -- that is correct. Almost everything you see is still placeholder art
NOTICE:
My IP changed today and unfortunately I didn’t have time to fix the game. The “connect to justin” button won’t work. Instead, you’ll have to copy/paste 173.74.52.39 into the box (replace ‘127.0.0.1′) and click ‘connect to client’. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Download links are up -- server will be up in about 10 minutes
This is what happens when artists only come into the project much later :P
Yeah there's still some changes planned for the general shape (some aspects of the current design are a bit unrealistic), but it's probably closest to the Bernal Sphere concept.
There's a translucent inner shell separating outer space from livable space - ((R(GGG)R)) - in this ascii cutaway, 'R' denotes where residents live and where simulated atmosphere would be present. Players play within the area marked with 'G' -- this is also where ships would dock to transport people/supplies in/out of the colony.
Glad you like it! The concept has been given the green light so he's basically just going to finish it up -- I don't expect major changes :)
