I have been modding Battlefield 2 for about four years now. My specialty is animation mixing and blending but I'm pretty experienced in a variety of areas, including BFmeshviewer and 3ds Max. I have also done a lot of work with texture editing and mesh hacking, with a focus on realistic specular lighting and shading effects. I have released some of my work on my YouTube page. very nice texture work, are u using osmap on this one or tangent normal?
Just regular tangent normals. Actually quite a few of the surfaces here don't have a bumpmap at all. On pretty much all of my weapons, it's really the specular map that shines (literally)!
Yep I though on making os maps for all the weapons I have, that would improve it a lot, the problem is that mos of them has shared side textures so I would need to re-uv and re-texture those, so I'm out, tangent is fine lol.
