Congrats on the attention you're getting for this project. I've been following this one for a bit and it's developed really quickly. I hope you guys are able to get it published for the masses. Definitely AAA quality work here, can't wait to see more and hear a date on the demo.
mesh looks good but the ambient occlusion on it is really noisy.
So much content lately, I'm really getting excited to see some working game play. What are the ideas for some of the weapons? Is it going to be mostly air combat and grounding for missions or a mix? Is it safe to assume this will be real time fighting and not turn based?
When you say body enhancements I assume you're talking about the strength, agility, etc powers like in Crysis right? Should make the mod more interesting if it takes the route of Bio Shock where you can't get every single ability in one go around. Great for Replay-ability. As for the technical aspect you can actually make the power selection menu in UE3; it's been done already, you just need a person who knows Uscript. They've done the same thing with the Source Engine as well in Fear. Hopping to the CryEngine simply gave your coder a base to work from as well as allowing higher poly assets for the modelers.
I'm really excited to see you guys still trucking hard. Can't wait to see the playable Demo. One month and one week til I graduate. Good luck guys =)
