Thank you! :)
Try downloading the rtx.conf file for gmod, it hides a lot of those detail textures. You can also set them to "ignore texture" and it'll make everything visible again.
Thank you! Good catch, will fix in the next update :)
The instructions are in the mod descriptions.
If you get the "Failed to create D3D device!" error, try uninstalling OpenCL™, OpenGL®, and Vulkan® Compatibility Pack. Jessica on the RTX-Remix Discord found this fix.
Great modeling work! RTX-Remix has made me buy more older games than newer ones as of late - adding this one to the cart!
You got it! New video posted in the videos section of Brickster escaping Lego Island! :)
Thanks for sharing that (and bringing this to my attention) I found what was causing it and how to fix it with help from Xenthio - open up the PortalRTX main directory, open the dxvk.conf file, and change rtx.io.enabled = True to rtx.io.enabled = False
Did you subscribe to the RTX-Fixes and install the Water mod in the description - moving it to the rtx-remix/mods folder? What maps' it on, I'll see if I can recreate it.
Sorry about that, I think I found the problem. There must've been an issue with the wrapper - I've reapplied a fresh wrapper onto the download, go ahead and try it now.
Ahh I see, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I've updated the download and the instructions, it's now more streamlined. You simply extract the download, and drag and drop the files inside of the LegoIsland2RTX folder into Lego Island 2's main game directory. Everything should be ready to go! :)
Hey, thanks for trying out the mod! Have you installed rtx-remix onto your game? Here's the link to the latest stable version Github.com
You'll unzip that, and drop it into your Lego Island 2 main directory. From there, it should provide the rtx-remix folder. The rtx-remix folder might not have the mods folder already, so you'll just create a "mods" folder, and drop the LegoIsland2RTX inside that folder. I'll update the instructions to reflect to make a mods folder if one isn't created :)
Thank you very much, I appreciate that! Here's the rtx.conf file Indiedb.com
Hey y'all, ahh I see - sorry, I thought half life 2 alone was working with rtx-remix now. I'll go ahead and update the instructions - basically you'll need to run half life 2 through Portal RTX, copying the hl2 folder inside Half Life 2 over to Portal RTX's hl2 folder. Then setting a launch option for Portal RTX saying "-game hl2" without the quotations. I'll get an rtx.conf file uploaded as well. If you haven't already, join the RTX-Remix discord and look under remix-projects for Half Life 2, there's screenshots on how to install Half Life 2 RTX if you get stuck. :)
