It doesn't, you can play games on linux using Proton. That's how the Steam Deck works the max you have to do is go out of your way through the trouble of making it work. But it does work with Lutris.

download nvidia drivers, then install wine, get Proton and then you can prob play it through Lutris

when you open the game open the console and write "map wasteland_depot1"
