This is not some line of code that you just put in the game unfortunately, so to get these high quality results, I will have to handdraw the lightmaps over the low quality ones. If someone can help me code a custom command script for the bfeditor, then it will be possible to generate HD lightmaps, that will be the only way to make it :(
About the performance, well I have no idea since those buildings that you see are the only objects in the map that has this shadows yet. I guess there will be if you have the whole map like this though

i thought perfomance won't be so much worse, it may be controlled by mipmaps distances
