Jones said I should go ahead with making this skin after I showed him a beta version, so I guess he likes it also. So the chances are good for this to be in AP :)
I think I made it too bright, so I still have to fix that along with a lot of other polishing work like making the skin look dirtier etc.
I got my inspiration from the Afghan soldiers of MW2:
For now it's gonna stay like this, until I can do exporting which is by far the hardest part of working with BF2 in 3ds max. So it's just gonna be a matter of time :)
I believe there's too much contrast in the texture. I'd recommend making the brown parts of the camo a bit larger as well as making a desert camo helmet cover. Whatever looks good ^^
We were considering a pattern like this for Combat but we decided to create a new camouflage for them. I still really liked the ccp camo on the MEC model.
You are right about the contrast of the camo. I increased it a bit, but it didn't really made it better, so I will still have to work on that. I believe the size of the camo looks just good enough for me because I know that the bigger the camo pattern is on these low-poly soldier models, the uglier it looks for me.
The reason why I made the helmet black is because I was imitating the Afghan soldiers from MW2, and also, it's good to have something different now and then though ^^
Thanks for the feedback, I'll consider the contrast definitely :)
Hey this looks pretty good too! Love the color vairations! This will hopefully be integrated in Alpha Project! :)

Alco can you modfy kit geometries? It would be a lot cooler if you could make some of the soldiers wear the helmet on the Assault class's head!
