That sounds awesome, i love his hunt mode not lasting forever, that was one major screw-up by Dynamic pixels on the original game and it kind of ruined the distraction mechanic since it became more about never triggering his hunt mode instead of using it to your advantage. you guys have really fixed it.

dude how long is this mod?? for a demo 12GB is way, way, way too much, no hate but you should probably try and optimize it

if the door BPs are custom and not the ones used in the original game, does the neighbor still become suspicious if a door is left open? or does he just not react?

dont know if you figured it out yet, but i will help, inside the BP_Human, you can look for "fear" and some stuff will come up. if you set the maximum distance, the minimum distance and the door fear all to 0, it removes it completely.

maybe just pirate it, you wont be able to play steam mods but you will be able to play packaged mods that are on this site

This mod isn't something you can load into the actual game, it's a content pack that people can put in their mods, made with the HN modkit.

But if you want to play old art-style mods, you'll need to be using the latest version of the full game on steam. Beta 3 doesn't have mod support.

you can try verifying your modkit, basically go to epic games launcher, then find where the modkit is installed and press "verify"

it doesnt work because its a duplicate of the original laddergate bp with a different name, which causes stuff to not work in the bp, so i recommend just making a custom one, if u have a custom double door then you can duplicate that and just change the static meshes to the ladder gate doors and then just add a lock and change the static mesh, since wrenches also work on locks if they have the same codes
