Here is a look at the Jeep using Max materials. Again, the C&C3 shaders cannot really get close (and this is a mediocre render that only uses a few maps).
An opacity map was done so you could see what the alpha mapped section would look like in C&C3.
I will probably leave the glass fully reflective instead of see through. In order to get the glass low opacity in C&C3, I would have to divide the Jeep into two 'bits'. The glass would need a shader which supports low opacity, because the main shaders (with normal map and specular slots) do not support low opacity only an 'Alpha test' option.
The specular in this render has specific coloured areas, another thing that C&C3 does not do.
Before I do a C&C3 test, I have to do something about the seats, they look like concrete! (you can tell that I am not used to texturing fabrics). Then I will see what it looks like in C&C3 (this is going to be even smaller than the Technical!).
I will not be adding a driver at this point.
