As with the previous war factory I have done, it is vital during the block out phase that the vehicle exit size is established (preferably using actual vehicles that would have to exit the factory).
As you can see it also helps to compare it to other war factories.
It is important to note that the bib area of the RA3 war factory is omitted (the floor area in front of the vehicle exit area, and some details around the side and top of the structure). The RA1 factory that I am doing will also have a similar bib, that is yet to be done.
For now, I will increase the vehicle exit area width slightly (without increasing the structure width), I will also slightly increase the entire structure height slightly (including the vehicle exit area), and finally I will increase the length slightly.
After that I will add some more detail to this model. I will be modelling the indent areas of the glass at the front and sides of the structure.
