I choosen Social Science (Sociology, History, Geography, Economy) but still taught Natural Science (Chemistry, Physics, Math, Biology) at least only basic of Chemistry and Physics, thanks to that damned minister. We shall hang him from National Monument.
I still remember the pain on 9th grade when i do exactly this, but i hate Natural Science so i didn't want to think about it. I just pretend listening at class because i didn't chose this, that explain why i seemed to online 24/7 hehehe.
Chose* ('chosen' is the passive form, e.g. "I was chosen by Ivan")
Hmm, I have something to share:
Well, I am not having a hard time here :)
Don't know about you, but I had a test today (tech class), and I was well-prepared for it. Tomorrow I'll have a maths test xD
In my opinion, I like school and 90% of the subjects (except biology and chemistry), because I'm good at them. And I'm good because my brain is good. Now, I believe that 3 things helped me with this "inner combat":
- Mapping
Basically, when arranging or "composing" a sequence: The truck smashes into a wall, and soldiers hop out of it; it requires some logical thinking, and how to set up entities in which order. It developed my logical thinking which helps greatly in physics and maths :D
- Programming
Well, in 7th grade we had QBasic lessons in the I.T. I tried to program my own game xD
It just happened, I was the best "programmer" in class (still, I'm dust compared to an average one). That also polished some quirks there and there.
- My girlfriend
I think you know who is Jody, right? Well, before her, I loved a girl from the class. I danced waltz with her on one occassion.
Because of her, I changed from the ground-up. I simply wanted to impress her, and I did so much, except losing some weight (even if I did that, she wouldn't love me).
So yeah, because of her I understood the brutality of real life, and that made me accept facts, and I became more self-aware, which led to more studying because I was aware that learning helps :D
And then, the combo of those 3 things led to my huuuge phylosophies and such thinkings. I started overthinking and I started thinking about thinking, and why do we even think xD
So yeah, useful perks there and there, but other than the pros, there are cons :/
Actually, the dance was at P.E. (physical education) class :D
Basically, none of us knew how to dance waltz. So, we learned it, and eventually, my classmates called out my name and my ex-love's name. By the way, she wasn't my girlfriend at all, I just loved her, but she didn't love me. xD (we're friends now)
I'm 4th best on class. I may not excel at lessons, but rather i'm blessed with good sense of Strategy & Tactics. And use it to find good way to study, and the method i use never betray me at exam.

Ah, lovebird, I envy you, dancing with person of opposite sex is despised in my culture. At least i manage to take her out.

After all, why would I need her when I have Jody?
Still, best of luck to you.

Hvala bogu, odavno sam pobedio tu borbu. ;)
Blago tebi, ja još imam 9. razred (tj. osnovnu), pa srednju završiti, i onda fakultet :P
Ali je najvažnija unutrašnja borba sa sobom. A sa tim se borim svaki dan :) (nasreću, imam prednost xD)
That was one fight, i still have one or two await.
